Terms of Service

Welcome to SyncStay. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

SyncStay ("the service") is a lightweight channel manager for short-term rental hosts. It polls the iCal calendar feeds you connect from third-party platforms (such as Airbnb and Booking.com), publishes an aggregated feed those platforms can subscribe to, and helps you reduce double bookings.

SyncStay is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Airbnb, Booking.com or any other platform. We do not control those platforms' reliability or terms.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 to use SyncStay.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
• One account per host. You may not share accounts.

3. What you must not do

• Use SyncStay to break the terms of any other service (including Airbnb's or Booking.com's).
• Upload illegal content, malware, or content that violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer it, or access it in a way that bypasses payment or rate limits.

4. Subscriptions, trials and refunds

• SyncStay is offered as a paid subscription, with a 14-day free trial on new accounts.
• After the trial, your card is charged for the chosen plan (Starter / Plus / Pro). You can cancel anytime from your account; the plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
• Payment is processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as Merchant of Record. Their terms apply to the payment transaction.
• We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial periods. If something went wrong, email support@syncstay.co and we will look at it case by case.

5. Sync is near-real-time, not instant

SyncStay polls connected calendars roughly once an hour and republishes its own feed for other platforms to subscribe to. There is an inherent lag in this approach. We will flag conflicts we detect, but we cannot guarantee that a double booking is impossible — we reduce, not eliminate, that risk. By using the service you accept this limitation.

6. Availability and warranty

We aim for very high availability but offer the service "as is", without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (e.g. lost bookings or revenue) arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights under EU law, including the right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days for a full refund where applicable.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when reasonably possible.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to active accounts. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kosovo, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You may bring claims in the courts of your country of residence as required by applicable consumer law.
